Najibabad Degree College is a Composite College under the Department of Higher
Education, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, situated at Village Gajipur Bhagwan in the District of Bijnor
Uttar Pradesh which is 8 KM away from Najibabad on the Najibabad Nagina Road. Its Degree
wing has an affiliation with Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly.
The college was established in the year 2016 as a private institution in Nagina Tehsil. The dream
of opening, a college became a reality with Sri Lal Babu Singh as the Managing Trustee of Shiv
Charitable Trust.
The college received an affiliation order to open Undergraduate Classes in Arts, Science and
Commerce from Academic Session 2016-2017 and received Government concurrence in the
year 2016. Besides, The College got permanent recognition for Undergraduate courses in Arts,
Science and Commerce in the Academic Session 2020-21. The college was included under
section 37 of the UP State University Act 1973.
The total number of teaching and non-teaching staff working in the college is 12 and 3
respectively. The existing strength of students is 650 in Undergraduate wings.
